The Atrial Fibrillation Ablation Center helps evaluate patients’ eligibility for ablative therapies that may eliminate AF or reduce the consequences of the AF. The Center nurse can answer questions about the procedure, its risks and benefits. We can assist in coordinating your medical records. We can schedule an appointment for you to see the doctor or to have an ablation procedure.

The Atrial Fibrillation Ablation Center pulls together experts who concentrate on atrial fibrillation.

2.2 million people have atrial fibrillation. While many people have this condition, some have a more difficult time finding for relief of their symptoms.

Science tells us that some of these arrhythmias can be completely cured and we are making rapid advances with ablations for AF. The Center now has some of the newest technologies that will be not be available elsewhere for 1-2 years.

If the symptoms of atrial fibrillation are not effectively relieved by currently available medicines, AF ablation may be an alternative for patient with AF.

Experience

The AF Center has done hundreds of ablations with a low complication rate, and an AF ablation success rate above 70%. About half of these patients are now off medication entirely when almost all had previous failed medical therapies.
